  • dice were painted before being laser etched with roman numerals in the game's typeface. the two game pieces are 3d printed, and were created by 3d scanning larger clay models. keep scrolling for more photos and information the bag for game pieces was dyed with tea to match the wood colour specifications and other tidbits all imagery was created by using co2 lasers to etch (burn) the designs out of painted wood, so if you smell the game, you get a whiff of smoke. it took 8 hours of machine time to laser etch the 5 boards, the front and back of the box, the insert, and aeroply for the sides of the box. the rule book is 287 pages long. the poem is open source as it's so old (1300s) it's out of copyright. the font used was droidiga (frank hemmekam) the box is 55x55x8cm and weighs 5kg. it took about 4 weeks from image creation to completion.
